Tonight, the Super Harvest Moon will be visible, marking the full moon closest to the Autumnal Equinox. As a Supermoon, it will appear slightly larger and brighter than usual, about 5% bigger and 13% brighter.
A Partial Lunar Eclipse will also take place, with the Earth casting a shadow on the moon. The eclipse begins at 9:12 PM CDT, reaches its peak at 9:44 PM, and ends at 10:15 PM. Skies should be clear, providing a good opportunity to observe this event.
