Attention has been on the system for early next week, but we can’t get too focused on it and let our first system catch us off guard. Although no major impacts are expected some slick roads could develop overnight Friday.
We have a low-pressure system moving to the south of Illinois Friday night. This will bring rain and light snow to south-central and southern Illinois.
Snowfall totals look to be less than 0.5″ over the area, but don’t be surprised if a few locations pick up 1″.
