It’s expected that rain will begin in the evening of September 20, 2023. According to the latest Quantitative Precipitation Forecast (QPF) from the Weather Prediction Center, there’s a potential for up to 4/10″ of an inch of rain in the area. While it may not be a deluge, we’re more than happy to embrace any rain that comes our way, given our return to dry conditions as reported by the latest drought monitor.
Looking ahead, the 7-day QPF shows an increase in rainfall, with a little over 1.00 inch over the this 7-day period. We have rain in the forecast starting the evening of the 20th and rain chances persiting into Friday.
