Dry conditions continue

Dry conditions will continue into June with a few chances of isolated thunderstorms. At the time of writing, Pana was not in drought conditions, but a few miles north and east are considered abnormally dry. Given the current weather pattern and looking ahead, it does look like our dry stretch will continue.

Highs will be consistently normal, with daily temperatures reaching the upper 80s and even reaching the low 90s by the weekend. This, combined with a lack of precipitation, will likely put Pana in abnormally dry conditions. The good news is that any thunderstorm that does develop will be slow-moving due to the lack of upper-level winds, so heavy rain is possible with the few thunderstorms over the area.
